Sanlitun South Area

The taxi will drop you off near the entrance to Dong Da Qiao Xie Jie or not far from it.  From there you walk past a twist in the road to numerous small bars.  Near the entrance to the street is Minder's which is neither small nor cheap but often has good live bands playing.  Another larger popular venue is Durty Nellie's.  We recommend Born in the 70's if you like a quiet, tasteful place.  Black Sun is also popular along with its sister bar at Chaoyang Park bar area.  This street also is lined with many small restaurants and food stalls.
